Responsibilities -
Providing technical support in pSeries & DS storage. Attending technical issues related with pSeries servers or storage as per raised tickets. Handling Major accounts like CITI Group, MTNL, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, and IBM Daksh, UPL, Watson Pharma, Ajanta Pharma, Kotak Mahindra Bank, BNP Paribas Bank etc. First level (L1) of contact with the customer for all technical escalations. Good hands-on experience on LPAR, DLPAR, HACMP, VIO, DS4K /8K Storage & performance Monitoring and tuning. Troubleshooting on OS level, HACMP, Hardware etc.

New Installation: Setup of two power6 520 machines, one power6 570 server. With expansion box. DS4700 with two exp810 & two SAN switch.
Client: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
1. New Installation: Setup of Four Power 570 servers. 2. One Power 570 servers configured with Three Expansion boxes. One Power 570 server configured with 2 expansion boxes. One Power 570 server configured with Two D20 I/O drawer & one G30 I/O drawer. One Power 570 configured with one D20 I/O drawer.
Client : BNP Paribas
New Installation: Setup of two P550 servers, TS3200 storage & Tape library. LUN creation done as per the File system requirement given by the customer. LUNs published to the both servers. FS created on both Servers. VIO implemented in active-passive mode. SAP script integration done with cluster.
Client : MTNL – Fort - Belapur
1. New Installation: Setup of Three Power6 550 servers, Two B16 SAN switches, DS4700, Tape Library.
2. One power 550 server configured as Development server, contains two D20 I/O drawers & Four LPARs created. AIX 6.1 is installed in each LPAR.
3. One power 550 server configured as Production server, contains one D20 I/O drawer & two G30 I/O drawers & Four LPARs created. AX 6.1 is installed on each LPAR using NIM.
4. HACMP cluster environment is configured for three production LPARs each with three Fail-over LPARs.
5. Storage Consist of one DS4700 main box & one EXP81A box. Three RAID 5 Array created, 7*146GB each. LUNS created & assigned to production & Fail-over server Host groups. SAP script integration with HACMP cluster
Client : SBI Belapur
1. New Installation: Setup of one power6 520, two power6 550 server. Each p550 configured with two LPARS one DB & one APP respectively. HACMP configured with two DB nodes. One p520 server configured with 10 LPARs. One is VIO & other 9 LPARs are VIO clients.
2. Two Cisco MDS 9000 switch configured.
3. One DS5000 Configured.
Technical Support Executive – IBM India Pvt. Ltd. - Jan 2004 to Aug 2005
Responsibility: Handled team of 15 engineers in ThinkPad division of IBM. Worked as team leader for IBM laptops/Desktops. Handled various customers of IBM. Escalation management and problem management. L2 support for Laptops for Western region.
